Somatic Movement

A soft and effective method.

Somatic Movement is about reconnecting the contact between the brain and our muscles to release residual muscle tension. You learn to detect and release tension before it leads to pain while also improving your coordination and body awareness.

The exercises are performed lying down. You are being gently guided through slow, conscious movements where you always proceed from your own body and your personal conditions.

The approaching holidays can mean different things to us. But I wonder if you, like me, feel that everything is going a little too fast right now? Are you longing to for the opportunity to unwind and land within yourself? To let go of the increased muscle tension that might give you pain? To be able to take care of you between your booked tango events? Or to just give yourself a moment of much-needed relaxation and rest?

If you recognize yourself in that, you are most welcome to join one of my Somatic Movement classes. I currently have two events scheduled. Both will be online via Zoom so you can easily participate no matter where you live. The classes will be two hours to also allow for a longer rest at the end.

Somatic Movement Online

You need nothing more than a mat and a computer with a connection. When life goes on, it can be difficult to find time to take care of yourself. Online classes allow you to participate from home and you don't have to use energy to go somewhere. The classes are guided verbally and you can therefore pay all attention to yourself and your own experience.
